there'll be an appreciation dinner for all staffs and volunteers

if you've helped in any way (cy leaders, prayer group leaders, worship leaders, vocals, band members, pew-pushers, intercessors, etc.)

there'll be lots of food and yum yums and fresh air (we're praying for good weather, since it'll be at the parking lot! do pray with us too)

and then there's youthquake!

Youth Alpha just started on the 15/8/2010 (introduction)

its gonna be a kursus-sepuluh-minggu teaching us about christianity

do come!

and we have FREE FOOD after that!

like how cool is that?

AND WE CAN EXERCISE AFTER THAT! (eg. football, captainball, FOOTBALL, football...)

now, where else can you find a package so complete?

not only you get to fill your empty stomach,
YOU GET TO BE PHYSICALLY FIT (its like some ten week exercising course, but this is wayyyy better. you get to improve your interacting/cooperating skills too!)
AND THE BEST PART,
YOU GET TO LEARN MORE ABOUT GOD!

Anyway, the crew had a cook-out at Squirrel’s house. We had chipotle macaroni and cheese with bacon, without chipotle; potato wedges; cupcakes; and Squirrel’s mum bought KFC!

Wooooo. We cooked, we chopped, we used Squirrel’s convection thingie to bake >.>, then we helped the new oven to do it’s debut. Yes, Squirrel’s mum bought a new oven just for that day! Okayla, not just for that day, but it was that day that prompted her to buy it :P.

Ahem. Tip tip! Don’t buy shredded cheese if you’re planning to melt them! They added some anti-melting thingie into them to prevent them from melting and sticking to each other! Whahahaha :P. Not to say they’re impossible to melt, but it’s much, much harder. So, buy blocks of cheese instead!

Update of the squirrel's.

The awesome squirrel's back. (And it's just sad. No one updated) Lol.
Okay. Rabbit's in Hong Kong. I'm sure she didn't bring a single carrot along with her.
And I'm sure now that she's in Hong Kong, she's changed her diet.
Now she feeds on prawn dumplings and wan ton noodles. I do not recall seeing carrots in the dumplings and food there.
Oh well. She'll be back in 3 days and I'm not sure if she'd wanna change her diet back to carrots.
What am I saying??? Bleargh.

Now the squirrel shall rant.
The squirrel's tired. The squirrel's throat burns because she sang too much. The squirrel has to soon go for tuition. And then the squirrel shall go for ballet.
Okay, the squirrel wants to stop.

K.I.D.S CHRISTMAS PARTY!

WOOOO!

Animals were spotted there. Heck, the BAND was made up of animals ---

the goldfish on the 1st keys, (yes that’s how she plays it)

the baboon on the guitar, (acting cool)

the hamster/ground sloth on the 2nd keys, (look at that finger, ready to press!)

a pigeon was pecking away at the bass, (she had friends… many friends!)

last but not least, His Donkey-ness! Hohohoho! (Isn’t he cuteee?)

Our star, the baboon was in the play, too! He was a baboon-shepherd! He got to see and talk to angels, lucky him! The angels told him about the baby Jesus, who was born in a manger, where donkeys and asses (see!) lay.

The parrot was seen pecking away at everybody (the precious! He pecked my fishball away!), and imitating noises.

A tame lion was walking about. I wonder where’s her trainer…

We watched a video where vegetables were bouncing about, saving Christmas:-

There was once this town, Dinkletown, that didn’t knew the true meaning of Christmas. They thought that Christmas was a time where they got present and toys and gifts and money and…… But Mr. Nezzer, the delusional toy-maker made an advertisement to promote his latest toy --- BUZZ-SAW LOUIE! He said that the toy knew the true meaning of Christmas, and will tell you that if you’d just press it’s nose, on which it will say “Billy has more toys than you!”, “You need more toys”……

The whole town goes into a state of chaos, with whiny kids and soft parents. It was revealed to be a wily plan of Mr. Nezzer to gain more profit!

But one day, 3 veggies were out sledding while they chanced upon a Buzz-Saw Louie that escaped from the penguin-guarded factory after questioning Mr. Nezzer’s values, to find out the true meaning of Christmas.

They then go to a “wise-man” (The grandpa who is telling the story) to find out the true meaning of Christmas, which he does. He explains to them that Christmas is to give, and not to receive and the way God gave us Jesus, the greatest gift of all time(this seems to be the theme at the K.I.D.S party this year).

After that, they decide to right the wrongs by using Mr. Nezzer’s TV studio to broadcast an advertisement about the true meaning of Christmas. the plan works, but Mr. Nezzer found out, and threatens to silence and get rid of them! –gasp!- He was about to send them into a deep ravine when the veggie families come and intervene.

A veggie carrot shows him kindness by giving him a teddy, which apparently works --- he quickly repents and changes his way. But tragedy struck! The three veggies accidently got sent onto its course

Mr. Nezzer quickly follows them on another sled. A chase-scene then occurs, with Mr. Nezzer and quite some penguins try to save them.

Buzz-Saw Louie saves the day with his buzz-saw arm, leaving Mr. Nezzer plunging to his doom… But Buzz-Saw Louie and the penguins spring right into action and saves him just in time.

Christmas was saved, and it was a “great Christmas”. Buzz-Saw Louie then lives in Dinkletown, making furniture with his buzz-saw arm.

Hi there, happy zooers, as you might already know, this bear has been transfered to the monkey girl school...haha(mgs lah)
And before I continue on, like what Jon Jon elaborated, ISCF camp was really awesome! Seriously, there isn't a word to describe the experience, my testimonial can be seen in my blog if anyone is interested. Just would like to say that Egkrateia rocks! And being the coolest leader, haha, is just a blessing, super proud of my teamates..
Oh yeah and of course,
OUR GOD IS GREAT!

And so everything has been alright in MGS, the monkey, squirrel, rabbit, pigeon, goldfish and others were really warm to me and so far its been fine here...(Don't even mention coping in studies, thats another story, lol)
Although some say it might be dead, I find it AWESOME, that the christian base here is in my personal opinion, very strong, I mean I never knew a school could have morning prayer! It's really amazing actually, you know to start the day by honouring God....

Food is oily though...haha....and no strepsils...=(
But overall everything is pretty ok, I do feel very school sick though....I guess to be in AMC for sooo long, its kinda sad to see that I left......

Oh yeah Happy April Fool's people...I got tricked twice today I think...=.=
Didn't bother to fool anyone, coz I don't know...I think its mean for some reason....lol
But I'm sure some of you had quite the fun...haha

I hope no one's gonna scold me for putting this post, just bored lah I guess...

*Edit* - The ISCF meeting is next Friday(3/4/2009), not the 27th of March. Time is the same, which is from 3 till 5 p.m.

Oop. Tadaa!! It's here!

Camp was great. Really. But I guess you, yes you, won't really know how great it was until you experience it, because words can't describe what happened.

3 - can you imagine that?? - people accepted Jesus as their personal saviour in this camp, and it was really gladdening to see people getting saved. I pray that the day will come when people will see the error of their ways and repent - but I suppose that will be a bit too late to do so, for the Bible says, the 2nd coming of Jesus is coming, and He's coming back for Judgment.

Okay... Was out of topic. Haha. God was moving in this camp, He touched us, set us free. We can finally sing "We are free-eeee..." truthfully now; not singing that, while we're actually not, with all those bondages that chains us - while we choose to hide them; trying to pretend that they had not happened. We confronted out inner-demons, casting them out - and by God's grace, never to return again.

We're champions, better than conquerers, so says the Bible.

We Champions, do not give up, for we are Champions, never a loser.

Many people fell under the power, or as some put it, got slain by the Spirit. But for those who didn't, never despair, falling of the Spirit is just a side-phenomenon of the anionting of the Spirit. God does things with a purpose - He doesn't give visions for no reasons, so He does not manifest the anointing without purpose, but then again, this is just what I think...

Many people received the gift of Tongues in the last session. For those who don't, don't despair - God will give it to you, if He sees fit.

:). Carl was sort of our official entertainer for this camp, but there are also some others, namely Jee An and Deric.

This camp had a 'family-family' feel to it - only 37 campers! Everyone knows each other - almost - like a 'kampung', and news travel faster than something faster than the fastest thing on earth :P. We were able to bond well together.

The food there was, quite good :), surprisingly, although some might beg to differ.

The only obvious flaw is that, in the hall where we worship, we can't jump!! A bit "potong stim", I've to admit. It gets very scary when someone starts to jump (coughcoughjeremycoughcoughcough), for the whole floor starts going up and down, as if it was trying to jump along - it was literally, "do you feel the building tremble". But then again, worship and praise isn't just about jumping and air-punching. Oh well.

I really do miss it, a break from normal routine. I'm still in camping mode, in a very selamba mode in school, thank God the teachers in my school are now giving back the exam's results - no homework! and I dare say that my results are somewhat okay :).

Really, next year, go.

Oooh... and, ISCF meeting at Elim 3 - 5p.m. :)

On the night of Tuesday February 17th, duckie was smsing Natasha Tan on some crap things,

but soon i found out, that she is horribly SICK

she claims to be dizzy, massive headache, a fever, sorethroat, weak legs, and swollen eyes.

but worse news came went she got back from the clinic,

she told me that the doc said she's having viral fever, but with symptoms of denggi.

but she also said that it'll take around 3 days to confirm wether its denggi.

so i ask all of you all reading this, myfers particularly!

to pray and trust in God to heal our beloved Natasha Tan! Amen!

I know that some of you all have exams(conty), have parents restricting them from the computer(jo+nic), busy with school happenings and events(parrat+lembu).. AND a post from the infamous Quacker that doesnt really quacks!

so I took time cracking the password to access to this very bloggy.

anyway, a big portion of the crew showed up in hugo's crib to throw sam a 'farewell partay' !

the dress code was 'Pirate' and we animals dressed up except the world smartest animal, parrot didnt quite dressed up appropiately as he went for another reason =DDD

quite a mixed of emotions were thrown into the party cause we had a time of sharing about sam!

I decided to do a post coz like I have free time on my hands and thought I give you all some entertainment about what has some of the Crew been up too. Enjoy!

Now as you all can see, Marcus (parrot) has been looking stunning recently with a shiny beak too!But be warned, get to close and....

This..might happen..ouch!

Now it looks like Li Xin(guinea pig) has been going out recently, we heard that she's been having a craving for yogurt drops. (gasp!)

Besides the parrot and the guinea pig, Jenny (me) and Conty(bulldog) have been "drinking" whoops, secret expose!

*Note: NO alchohol was consume by Jenny and Conty during the making of this post.* =)

We heard that Melissa(Goldfish) is dreaming of pursuing a basketball career! With someone who can play bball without hands! I say she will be a mighty good player..

Benjamin has also been active in sports too, he has just completed a long exhausting bicycle journey in Australia!

Inspired by Ben and Melissa, Carl (cow) has been teaming up with a dolphin to participate in the state swiming finals...Good luck Carl!!Wow look at him go~

Speaking of swimming,we have spotted Joon Yang (Duck) taking a relaxing swim in Sungai Kinta

Caught! Hugo (panda) has been caught redhanded! for curi makan! lol

And of course like always Nicole(Rabbit) and Natasha (Squirrel) will always be themselves.
